Services

Security and technology advisory built around your next decision.

Whether your organization is assessing current systems, evaluating AI, or planning modernization, start with a clear understanding of the environment. SG’s service pillars connect strategy, operational requirements, and practical next steps.

Security and technology assessments

Understand the environment before investing in its future.

Establish a clearer view of your systems, workflows, stakeholders, and modernization priorities. A scoped assessment helps leadership understand where further investigation, integration, or investment may be warranted.

A useful starting point before a major refresh, procurement decision, or cross-functional planning initiative.

Physical security and cyber-physical modernization

Connect facility protection with the systems behind it.

Evaluate how access control, video, duress, intrusion detection, and communications support your operating needs. SG examines the technology alongside the workflows, ownership, and digital dependencies that influence its usefulness.

Scope

  • Access and movement: Credentials, restricted areas, visitor management, and emergency access procedures.
  • Visibility and evidence: Video coverage, recording, retention, retrieval, and authorized access.
  • Alerting and response: Duress, notification, verification, acknowledgment, escalation, and coordination.
  • Continuity: System availability, fallback communications, maintenance, and recovery dependencies.
  • Screening strategy: Risk-based evaluation of technology, limitations, staffing, privacy, and response protocols.

Deliverables

Depending on scope, deliverables may include coverage observations, workflow maps, integration requirements, lifecycle recommendations, and a phased modernization concept.

This service describes advisory and evaluation. Direct installation, screening operations, guard services, and monitoring are not included unless separately established.

Digital risk and technology alignment

Bring digital dependencies into security planning.

Connected security devices and cloud platforms create responsibilities that span security, IT, vendors, and operations. SG helps stakeholders examine those responsibilities and identify areas that need clearer ownership or specialist review.

Scope

  • Access: Identity, privileges, vendor connectivity, and remote administration considerations.
  • Infrastructure: Network segmentation, cloud service responsibilities, device lifecycle, and resilience dependencies.
  • Governance: Logging expectations, incident handoffs, supplier requirements, and ownership.

Deliverables

Depending on scope, deliverables may include a cyber-physical dependency map, control-readiness observations, a risk register, and recommendations for authorized specialist work.

Advisory review is not penetration testing, managed detection and response, forensic investigation, or active incident containment.

AI readiness and governance

Decide where AI belongs before deciding what to deploy.

AI should solve a defined operating problem, not become a goal by itself. SG helps organizations evaluate use cases, data readiness, oversight, privacy considerations, and the conditions for a responsible pilot.

Scope

  • Use-case fit: Define the task, intended benefit, alternatives, and affected stakeholders.
  • Data and access: Examine information sources, quality, access permissions, and provider responsibilities.
  • Human oversight: Define who reviews outputs, handles exceptions, and approves consequential decisions.
  • Pilot criteria: Establish baselines, measurement, limitations, escalation, and stop or expansion conditions.

Deliverables

Depending on scope, deliverables may include a use-case register, readiness findings, governance recommendations, and a pilot evaluation scorecard.

SG’s proposed offer is AI advisory and evaluation. It does not imply ownership of an AI platform, autonomous security decisions, or guaranteed model performance.

Operations, integration, and modernization advisory

Turn priorities into a coordinated plan.

Modernization depends on more than selecting technology. SG helps teams clarify requirements, compare options, plan operational handoffs, and define how progress and acceptance will be evaluated.

Scope

  • Procurement: Requirements development, evaluation criteria, proposal review, and conflict transparency.
  • Operations: Alert routing, dispatch, emergency communications, escalation, and documentation.
  • Delivery governance: Stakeholder responsibilities, dependencies, milestones, and acceptance planning.
  • Performance: Agreed operating measures, review cadence, and roadmap updates.

Deliverables

Depending on scope, deliverables may include requirements matrices, vendor evaluation rubrics, implementation governance plans, response workflow maps, and performance scorecards.

Advisory oversight does not automatically include installation, project engineering, system operation, or continuous monitoring.

Engagement options

Start with the right scope.

Scope, timing, fees, and delivery responsibilities are defined in a written proposal. The introductory conversation is used to understand fit and determine the appropriate next step.

02

Modernization roadmap

Translate agreed needs into sequenced decisions, requirements, and delivery responsibilities.

03

Implementation governance advisory

Support coordination, evaluation, and acceptance planning for approved changes.

04

Ongoing executive advisory

Maintain a defined cadence for decision support, roadmap updates, and stakeholder alignment.

FAQ

Common questions

Can SG work with our existing integrator or IT team?

The engagement can be scoped to complement the teams and providers already responsible for your systems. SG’s advisory role, coordination expectations, and decision responsibilities are defined before work begins.

Do we need to adopt AI to work with SG?

No. An engagement can focus on existing systems, workflows, and modernization priorities. AI evaluation should determine whether a use case is appropriate, including whether a non-AI approach is preferable.

Does SG install or monitor security systems?

The service model described here is advisory-led. Installation, monitoring, technical testing, and other specialist delivery require separate confirmation of scope and qualified providers.

Does an assessment certify compliance?

No. Advisory assessments and readiness support do not provide legal advice, regulatory certification, accreditation decisions, or a guarantee of security outcomes.

Can engagements support multiple locations?

Multi-site advisory can be discussed during qualification. Location, access, travel, resources, and any specialist delivery requirements must be confirmed in the engagement scope.

Next step

Define the decision. Then define the right engagement.

Share your priorities and the systems or workflows you are evaluating. SG can help identify an appropriate starting scope and the stakeholders who should be involved.
